WoW Classic WotLK Phase 1: Launch Schedule, Raids, Naxxramas Release Date & more

Here's what to expect from Phase 1 of WotLK World of Warcraft Classic.

WoW Classic WotLK Phase 1 Schedule

WotLK Phase 1 will begin as soon as the expansion pack is released on Monday, September 26th. In addition to all the new content, new dungeons, new classes, new areas, and more released with the new expansion, players will be able to enjoy a new arena season and three raids.

Here is the breakdown:

Wrath of the Lich King Classic Edition will be released on September 26: 6:00 PM EST, Wrath of the Lich King Classic will be online soon, players are welcome to log in.

Arena Season 5 Begins October 4-5: Season 5 will begin with a weekly reset.

On October 6th, Naxxramas, the Eternal Eye, and the Obsidian Temple will open at 6:00 PM. Eastern Time.

Blizzard has yet to confirm more information about what will happen after October 6. However, the content here takes into account dates in the past. This includes the release of Ulduar, the Silver Tournament and its Silver Tournament Venue, Dual Talent Specializations, and more.

Warcraft Classic WotLK Raid

Naxxramas returns in phase one

One of the most iconic raids in World of Warcraft history, Naxxramas will be returning to Warcraft Classic WotLK alongside the Eternal Eye and Obsidian Temple as the first phase of raids.

Returning from the original World of Warcraft, Naxxramas will include a slew of massive gear to chase.

This loot includes the expansion's first tier set, tier 7, several best weapons like Doomsday, Curse, Tides of Reversal, and important trinkets like Spider's Embrace, Grim Charge, and more.

Eternal Eye and Obsidian Temple round things off

While smaller than Naxxramas in terms of boss count and overall lack of level gear, both the Eternal Eye and the Obsidian Temple also have their own key loot.

On the Eye of Eternity, players can hunt items such as Hailstone, Black Ice, Nexus Scepter, Mark of Norgannon, and Living Ice Crystals.

And for the Obsidian Temple, they can check out the Staff of Restraint, the Dragon Soul Book, the Ring of Mystery Streams, and the Coat of Arms.

It's also worth noting that both raids drop flying mounts, Reins of the Cerulean Drake and Reins of the Black Drake and Reins of the Twilight Drake for Obsidian Sanctum for 10 and 25 players.
