What You Need to Know About the World Of Warcraft Shadowlands Mage Tower
As we've said, the Mage Tower is part of the Legion Timewalking time-limited event. The first event lasted for one month. That should provide you with enough time to conquer the challenges. The Mage Tower is hard solo content that will make you work for the rewards. Fortunately, you can find many online guides and resources. The only requirement to enter the Shadowlands Mage Tower is to be level 50. You don't have to contribute to the building like in Legion. To start the challenge, you need to talk to War Councilor Victoria. Another difference is that there is no cost to enter the Mage Tower. That's a good thing because it will take some tries to complete it. If you are thinking that you can breeze through the fights with your Shadowlands gear and level, you should know that the Mage Tower was tweaked to offer the same level of challenge. According to some players, it's even harder to complete it now than it was in Legion. All of your gear will be scaled down to item level 50. The good news is that you can use the Timewalking gear set to get an advantage. If you didn't do this during the last Legion Timewalking event, keep it in mind for next time. You should also work on getting a Timewalking set. Some effects don't work inside the Shadowlands Mage Tower. All abilities and effects pertaining to Shadowlands content such as Covenants, legendary effects, and Shard of Domination effects cannot be used. Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth features such as legendary items and azerite-related effects will be of no help. Tier set bonuses are not applied as well. The Mage Tower has seven encounters. Each class specialization must complete a different encounter. If you complete at least one, you get the A Towering Success achievement. If you complete all seven challenges, you get the A Tour of Tower achievement and a mount.
