World of Warcraft: Patch 9.1 hotfixes: What’s new

Let’s start with the changes made to the achievements. Player who earn the Treasures of Korthia achievement will now receive the achievement points for it. Treasures of Korthia will also display a toast when it is unlocked. Another fix will allow players who defeat Deomen the Vortex to receive credit for Conquering Korthia. Additionally, defeating Consumption after he becomes a rare creature will now grant credit for Conquering Korthia every time.

Classes and covenants also received fixes. The Controlled Burn PvP talent for fire mages, no longer prevents the spreading of Ignite. Concerning the covenants, players who completed the Venthyr covenant campaign before the Chains of Domination update will no longer see the campaign as incomplete. On another note, issues that cause icons to be mismatched on the Soulbind UI for the Venthyr covenant have been fixed as well as the buff effects applied to players.

Concerning creatures and NPCs, enemies that fight each other in Korthia will now break agro after the player reaches a certain distance. The tormented Demolisher that can be found in Korthia are now classified as an elite enemy. When tracking Malbog, Kah-Bear will no longer pick fights with nearby enemies and Duchess Mynx is more welcoming to players who are not old friends.

Concerning the fixes to dungeons and raids, Astronos’ Crescendo ability will now originate from the correct location in Spires of Ascension. The Battered Red Drakes of Grim Batol will now be able to fly.

Items and rewards issues have also been addressed. It will now be easier to loot Korthia treasures, as they contain more items and disappear after a longer time. Additionally, zone consumables from the 9.0 version of the game will now work in Korthia.

Lastly, several issues with quests have been fixed all over the game making it easier to meet the conditions to complete them. During the Night Fae assault in the Maw, enemies that fight Droman Aliothe in the Double Dromans quests will focus on him until you attack them.
