World of Warcraft: Patch 9.0.5, what’s new
2021-03-11 00:00:00
Let’s start with the adventures changes; patch 9.0.5 has made changes to the Kyrian, Necrolord, Night Fae and Venthyr Covenant companions.
The patch has fixed some issues with these Covenant Companions and buffed some of their stats and abilities that seemed underpowered in the game.
That is the case of the Kyrian Phalanx health, the attack of Venthyr Nightblade or the spell effectiveness of Rencissa the Dynamo, Assembler Xertora or Rattlebag.
The patch has also affected character classes
Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Druids, Hunters, Mages, Monks, Paladins, Priests, Rogues, Shamans, Warlocks and Warriors have all received changes.
Many of their abilities have been changed, while several items have been redesigned.
The update has also changed the effects of certain abilities or fixed some effects that were not functioning properly, such as the warlock’s Summon Dreadstalkers who will now listen to primary pet commands.
Covenants have been modified for Necrolord, Venthyr and Night Fae. The Necrolord has received the most changes, the Covenant abilities for example have been changed as follow:
· Fleshcraft has been redesigned – Form a shield of flesh and bone over 3 seconds (was 4 seconds) that absorbs damage equal to 40% of your maximum health for 2 minutes.
While channeling, your damage taken is reduced by 20%. Passive effect – Moving near an enemy’s corpse consumes their essence to reduce Fleshcraft’s cooldown by 1 second.
· The slime creatures within the Plaguefall dungeon will now grant their buffs when their corpses are consumed by Fleshcraft’s passive effect (was when Fleshcraft was used on their corpses).
Soulbinds have been changed for all three covenants with the nature of those changes varying depending on the covenant.
In the case of Necrolord some abilities have been redesigned, while Night Fae and Venthyr have received bugs fixes.
